HOW TO USE THIS DOCUMENT
------------------------

To view CardBus.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.

To print CardBus.txt, open it in Notepad or another word processor, 
then use the Print command on the File menu.

A CardBus laptop would be optimally enhanced by the following QFE's:
\updates\cardbus - cardbus.txt
\updates\cardbus\pci (1112 & 1114)
\updates\cardbus\cbss (1214 & 1117)
\updates\cardbus\sockets (1112)
\updates\cardbus\pccard (1118)

HOW TO INSTALL THE UPDATES
--------------------------

Method #1
---------
Double click the self-extracting exe in the directory.  Be sure to reboot your system.

Method #2
---------
To install each of the files, rename the file you are replacing and drop
the updated QFE files into the appropriate directory.

Note - Configmg.vxd is a compiled component and will not show up as a file to rename.
Files that go into the Windows\system dir are; Cbss.vxd, pccard.vxd, socketsv.vxd (for non-cardbus issues), PCI.vxd 

Files that go into the Windows\System\vmm32 dir (compiled component file) is ; Configmg.vxd

Files - 
 1112 & 1114 - is Configmg.vxd and PCI.VXD (Can be used with CBSS.VXD
               and PCCARD.VXD, and also Socketsv.vxd if needed)
 1112 & 1117 - is PCI.VXD         (Should be used with CBSS.VXD and PCCARD for cardbus issues)
 1112 - is Socketsv.vxd  (For Non-Cardbus issues and can be used in all cases as needed)
 1118 - is pccard.vxd   (Can be used in every case the user would need, 
        and should be used when updating with CBSS.VXD or Socketsv.vxd)
